Where to Eat in Firenze

TL;DR - Pretty much anywhere...

On a slightly more serious note, there is a lot of good eating in Firenze, and while everybody has a completely different list of "must go" places, it is rare that you'll find any of these lists to be categorically wrong.  That said, what you do want to do is find out which of these lists most closely matches your tastes :-)
Also, be sure to read my "Travel Tips For Italy" - things I've learned, usually the hard way...

Lunch / Dinner

All'Antico Ristoro di Cambi (Via San'Onofrio 1/R, +39.055.217.134)
An old school restaurant, slightly off the beaten path, which has spectacular steak and "pomodoro al pappa" (think "fresh tomato soup w/ bread").  Also, if they have lardo, get it!

Al Tranvai (Piazza Torquato Tasso 14r, +39.055.225.197)
In a restaurant that looks (vaguely) like a tram (tranvai!), this Slow Food place has incredibly good pasta, and even gooder baccalao.  And, of course, if they have the lardo, get some!!!

Culinaria de Gustibus (Piazza Torquato Tasso 13, +39.055.703.5488)
More slow-food, sometimes great, sometimes ok, but the awesomeness is the ambience and the hosts not to mention the occasional wandering poet who comes by and, well, poets.

Da Ruggero (Via Senese 89/red, +39.055.220.542)
A classic neighborhood restaurant.  Its a bit of a hike to get there, but oh so worth it!.  Get whatever they have as a special, and if at all possible, get a plate of the beans.  It'll change your life!

Gusta Pizza (Via Maggio 46R, +39.055.285.068)
If you're hankering for pizza, this is the place to go. (Ok, many other places too, but this ain't bad!)

L'Antico Trippaio (Via dei Cimatori 16)
All tripe, all the time  Whee!!!!

l'Brindellone (Piazza Piattelina 10, +39.055.217.879
There are many many places that have spectacular florentine steak (e.g., Ristoro di Cambi above), and this is one of them.

Osteria Vini e Vecchi Sapori (Via Dei Magazzini 3, +39.055.293.045)
"On" the beaten path, a place to go if you don't feel like walking to one of the others

Pandemonio di Casa Brogi (Via del Leone 50, +39.055.224002)
Classic Tuscan food, done Just Right, with excellent ingredients, and a deep attention to service.

Sei Divino (Borgo Ognisanti 42r, +39.055.215.794)
There are wine-bars everywhere (this is Italy after all), and this is the one we decided to hang out in.  They have a bajillion wines, and are perfectly willing to spend hours helping you figure out what you want to drink.   You could do worse, far worse!

Trattoria Mario (Via Rosina 2r, +39.055.218.550)
A casual/local place, with very happy-making food.  Note - its a decidedly local place :-)

Gelato
Awesome Gelato everywhere - this is, by no means, an exhaustive list.  That said, take a look at the Gelato - if it is "melty", it probably isn't good...

Carabè (Via Ricasoli 60, +39.055.289.476)

Gelateria Dei Neri (Via dei Neri 9/11, +39.055.210.034)

Gelateria La Sorbetteria (Piazza Torquato Taso, +39.055.512.0336)

My Sugar (Via de'Ginori 49/red)
