Africa sized by Wikipedia Articles - a #Visualization
From the Oxford Internet Institute , we have this map of Africa, where the countries are resized based on the number of Wikipedia articles about them. Looks surprisingly correct, except for Central Africa that is somewhat slender - probably due to the extremely limited internet access in a bunch of those countries (Check out the Sudans and the Congos in particular...) Mind you, this has nothing to do with the actual quality of the articles on Wikipedia...
