Remember this immortal Doonesbury bit? I'm one of the suckers that actually bought a Newton, and I remember its shock and awe approach to handwriting recognition.  Shock that it recognized something , and Awe at the sheer badness in an actually released product. Anyhow, Siri has pretty much been an EPIC FIAL for me, right up there with the Newton.  After messing with it for a while, I've found that its actually faster for me to just Google stuff then to go through the possible results.
