Integrating my Phone w/ my car's GPS system

@tomheinan recently noted that it should be possible to send addresses from ones cellphone to the car's GPS system.  Seriously, this is so brain-deadly obvious, its obviously not something that we're going to see soon.
Unless, of course, you're Samsung, in which case it turns out that you are thinking about precisely this.
Or, to be a wee bit more technically accurate, they're talking about creating
... an in-car solution that seamlessly connects Samsung smartphones to Toyota's In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system.   
The collaboration will see the integration of a wide array of Samsung's smartphone and mobile communication technologies with Toyota's cutting-edge IVI to add enhanced connectivity, multimedia capabilities and internet services.
Absolutely no more information here.  But its been a long time coming, and I, for one, welcome it.  Mind you, this does coincide with me (most likely) selling my car since it doesnt look like we'll ever use the damn thing in NYC...

Good to see that our phone nowadays can be use as GPS tracker. Smartphones are very intelligent in helping us in our everyday life.

The nice thing about garbage-collection is that it is makes memory management absolutely transparent to you Of course, the above is true right up to the point when it stops being transparent, at which point it does a phase change from nice to clusterf**k of biblical proportions .  There are entire posts, books, and suicide notes that have been written about this, and I have no great desire to add to them, save with the minor comment that paranoia about garbage-collection is still justified , albeit only in the edge-cases for most people. Cannonball Tree!

Spotted this one just outside the Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bangalore .  Its called the Cannonball Tree , but is - technically (i.e., in Latin, if thats your metier) - Couroupita Guianensis , or ನಾಗಲಿಂಗ ಪುಷ್ಪಾ  in Kannada. The fruits look like Cannonballs (well, d-uh), and the flowers are really quite amazing, and pretty ludicrously distinctive...

Visualizing Prime Numbers

From Jason Davies , we have El Patron de Los Primos , probably one of the coolest prime number visualizer that I've seen.  For every Natural number, he draws a periodic curve that intersects at that number and each of its multiples.  Needless to say, prime numbers are touched by only two curves (itself and 1 ).
