Sweden (and Britain) and the #Euromess

So Britain promised to veto any attempts to actually modify the treaty. Sweden is pretty certain that they won't pass it (Oh they'll contribute to the IMF, which is being called 'support'.  Some support, when you're also effectively saying _No_ ).
I guess Merkel's bet is They'll change their minds once the Euro is about to actually collapse , i.e., the equivalent of the I've got a loaded gun and am not afraid to use it approach. 
The problem with that approach is that it is effectively rationalizing a choice between a suicide pact, and a deflationary spiral.
In the meantime, Switzerland is panicking as their currency control strategy is based on the assumption that the Euro will not collapse (they've promised to buy an unlimited amount of Euros to keep the Swiss Franc down).  If the Euro collapses, well, Switlzerland is hosed.
Joy. A #Eurocrisis indeed...

The nice thing about garbage-collection is that it is makes memory management absolutely transparent to you Of course, the above is true right up to the point when it stops being transparent, at which point it does a phase change from nice to clusterf**k of biblical proportions .  There are entire posts, books, and suicide notes that have been written about this, and I have no great desire to add to them, save with the minor comment that paranoia about garbage-collection is still justified , albeit only in the edge-cases for most people. Cannonball Tree!

Spotted this one just outside the Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bangalore .  Its called the Cannonball Tree , but is - technically (i.e., in Latin, if thats your metier) - Couroupita Guianensis , or ನಾಗಲಿಂಗ ಪುಷ್ಪಾ  in Kannada. The fruits look like Cannonballs (well, d-uh), and the flowers are really quite amazing, and pretty ludicrously distinctive...
