Cloud - HR Services

I don't know if this new cloud service from ADP qualifies as disruptive in the "tech" sense, but it is certainly could be disruptive in the world of HR. Then again, maybe not.
From the perspective of an HR end-point, the worst, worst part of anything you have to do is actually using the services. Timesheets, paystubs, PTO, W-4s,well, you know the drill. The absolute horror associated with filling this stuff in, keeping track of activities, and, god forbid, actually having to make changes.
The key problem here is that HR services in companies have turned intoout of band services.
- They are not part of an employees behavior stream, but instead, rely on being jammed into the workstream as an external process ( I know your job is to manage the LAN, but you need to go into this arcane system twice a day to log your hours )
- They rely on enforcement for compliance ( You must do this twice a day. I know its dumb, but you just have to )
- They don't make sense. And thats even after you get past the GUI, whose design resembles some of my best efforts (and that is not a compliment, in case you were wondering)

To get back to the disruptive bit, If they've fixed the GUI issues, and Ifthey've fixed the behavior stream issues, then this could be remarkably useful and disruptive.

Mind you, thats a pretty big if there...
